I wasn’t one of those who got lucky to go places at an early age from a third-world country. On the contrary, I developed the curiosity to travel when I was in college and was able to go places when I started working my 9-5. Traveling used to be as escape: from the city traffic, the unruly crowd, painful breakups, or the monotony of the corporate world. I couldn’t quite remember when I stopped being motion-sick in buses, paranoid in ships, or nervous in planes. All I know is that when I get stuck doing my routine for more than two to three months, my entire system yearns for a reboot.
